Jefferson County Sheriff's Office- Raises

It's a shame, as the editorial in Monday's Bulletin also says, that the Sheriff's office in Jefferson County is getting raises, vacation, and more holiday's as part of their settled arbitration. The editorial goes into more detail, but bottom line is that the it's a bummer that their "last best offer" included these changes. Layoff's are a coming to benefit the ones who are a staying. I hope those raises come in handy when standing next to a laid off Brightwood employee in the grocery store whose struggling to survive.
